Refund & Return Policy

At Techodep, we aim to provide quality products and a reliable shopping experience. Please read our Refund & Return Policy carefully before placing an order.

1. Return or Replacement Eligibility

A product may be eligible for return, replacement, or other appropriate remedy if:

  • The product was damaged during delivery.
  • You received the wrong product.
  • The product was defective or not functioning as intended when received.
  • The product received is materially different from the product ordered.

Please contact Techodep within 7 days of delivery if you experience any of the above issues.

2. Electronics & Electronic Components

Many products sold by Techodep, including development boards, microcontrollers, sensors, modules, electronic components and related products, require proper handling and installation.

Electronic products may be damaged by incorrect wiring, excessive voltage or current, short circuits, reverse polarity, soldering, static electricity, physical modification or improper use.

Returns or replacements will generally not be accepted for damage caused after delivery due to incorrect installation, wiring, soldering, programming, modification, misuse or improper handling.

For products reported as defective upon receipt, Techodep may request photographs, videos, packaging details, testing information or other reasonable evidence to verify the issue.

3. Non-Returnable Items

Returns may not be accepted for products that:

  • Have been physically damaged after delivery.
  • Have been soldered, modified, altered or improperly installed.
  • Have been damaged due to incorrect voltage, current, polarity or wiring.
  • Show evidence of short circuit, misuse or improper handling.
  • Have missing components, accessories, manuals or supplied items.
  • Were ordered incorrectly by the customer, including the wrong model or specification.
  • Are specifically identified as non-returnable on the product page, subject to applicable law.

This does not affect remedies available under applicable law for products that were defective, damaged, incorrect, misrepresented or otherwise legally non-conforming when supplied.

4. Change of Mind

Techodep does not generally accept returns solely because a customer changes their mind after receiving a correctly supplied and functioning product.

Customers are requested to carefully check the product description, specifications, voltage requirements, compatibility, dimensions and other relevant information before placing an order.

5. Damaged, Defective or Incorrect Products

Please inspect your order as soon as possible after delivery. If you receive a damaged, defective or incorrect product, contact us within 7 days of delivery.

Please provide the following information:

  • Order number
  • Name of the product
  • Description of the issue
  • Clear photographs or video showing the issue
  • Photographs of the package and shipping label where relevant

Please retain the original product packaging and supplied accessories until the issue has been resolved.

6. Return Approval

Please do not send a product back to Techodep without prior approval. Contact our customer support team first.

After reviewing your request, we will provide return instructions if the product needs to be returned.

Where applicable, returned products should include the original product, accessories, manuals, packaging and other items supplied with the order.

7. Refunds

Once an approved returned product is received, Techodep may inspect and test the product before approving the refund.

If the refund is approved, it will generally be processed to the original payment method.

The time required for the refund to appear in your account may vary depending on your bank, card issuer, UPI provider or payment gateway.

Depending on the circumstances, Techodep may provide a replacement, refund or other appropriate remedy in accordance with applicable law.

8. Return Shipping Charges

Where the return is due to a wrong product supplied by Techodep, damage during transit, or a verified defect existing at the time of delivery, Techodep will handle the applicable return shipping charges.

Where Techodep agrees to accept a discretionary return for reasons attributable to the customer, the customer may be responsible for the return shipping cost.

9. Order Cancellation

Customers may request cancellation of an order before the order has been shipped.

Once an order has been dispatched, cancellation may not be possible. The applicable return and refund conditions will then apply.

10. Refund for Cancelled Orders

For an eligible prepaid order cancelled before shipment, the refund will be processed to the original payment method.

The time required for the amount to reflect in the customer’s account may depend on the payment provider or financial institution.

11. Important Notice for Electronic Products

Before connecting or powering an electronic product, please verify its operating voltage, polarity, pin configuration, wiring and compatibility.

Damage resulting from incorrect wiring, overvoltage, reverse polarity, short circuit, soldering, modification, physical damage or improper handling after delivery is generally not eligible for return or replacement.

12. Consumer Rights

Nothing in this policy is intended to limit or exclude any rights or remedies available to consumers under applicable Indian consumer protection laws.
